An Evening of Rarities on Film at the Museum of Jurassic Technology, curated by Mark Toscano Mark Toscano – iotaCenter Advisory Council member, preservationist, curator and specialist in the avant-garde – will be hosting a special evening of rarities on film! David Wilson at the Museum of Jurassic Technology was kind enough to grant us the use of his small, 12-seat screening space at the Museum to host this very exclusive event. For this screening, Mark will choose a selection of rare avant-garde pieces that have had little to no exposure to the public. These may come from Mark’s own collection, the collections of filmmakers that he knows personally, from iotaCenter’s film collection, or from the vast collection of experimental works at the Academy Film Archive. They may be short films, or outtakes from existing films, or even tests or trailers. But they will all be very special, and very unique. This event will be treated differently from the rest of the auction items. There are only TWELVE spots open and the seats will be priced at a flat rate of $150. |
